So happy to announce a transformational program wh

So happy to announce a transformational program which brings together CI circles based on Gabor Mate's psychotherapeutic approach to trauma and trauma sensitive yoga.

Facilitating 3 cohorts of CI circles so far, I am continuously amazed by the power of the group and how people uncover layers and layers, growing and connecting together.

CI circles include 10 facilitated group sessions (2 hours each), video recordings with Gabor Mate (over 9 hours) and teaching materials.

Simona will facilitate 10 hours of mindful movement and evidence-based trauma-sensitive practices which will come as a support for the group participants to embody the teachings and process what is coming up for them.

Just finished @trevornoah ‘s book: Born A Crime (Nascut in afara legii). What stands out is Trevor’s relationship with his mother, her determination to have a child with a white man during apartheid, and the struggles of being a man of color in a world of extreme racism. When I found out @gabormatemd is coming to @brand_minds I knew I won’t miss this. I am his student since 2019, and currently facilitating his trauma-informed psychotherapeutic program @compassionateinquiry worldwide. I am so grateful for his work and for sharing it with so many people. Felt in awe to witness his presence 🙏🏻✨
I wrote down a couple of nuggets I took with me from Gabor’s speech & also from other presenters I enjoyed seeing on the stage. .
Though I did not include Gary Vee on my notes, I loved seeing him on stage as well. I need to do some intentional research on NFTs, web3, metaverse… 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know I have some resistance in doing that but hey, things are changing really quick.

I can’t find enough words to express how much I enjoyed this book.
Struggling with PCOS, Hashimoto’s, insulin resistance, inflamation, this book spoke a language I can understand.
I was able to make sense of my experience wihout judging myself.
Connecting with the body is not new to me, as I’ve been exploring the impact of developmental trauma on my body for a couple of years, but now I also have a bit of understanding of what happens at a molecular level as well. And this comes with excitement, self acceptance & motivation. Looking forward to applying the hacks described in this book. Thank you @glucosegoddess for sharing your knowledge with us and translating it into a language that it’s easier to understand.
