Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an intervention designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience.
The complete SSP program comprises 3 main pathways that are delivered via a mobile phone app (compatible with IOS and Android).
Each of the SSP pathways is composed of different filtered, unfiltered and calming 5-hour music playlists for either children or adults.
The SSP pathways are designed to help the nervous system to better receive, process and respond to the cues and signals from the world around us. This helps us learn how to more easily and consistently feel better regulated in the face of life’s challenges.
The SSP shows significant results in the following areas:
- Social and emotional difficulties
- Auditory sensitivities
- Anxiety and trauma related challenges
- Stressors that impact social engagement

You will receive access to the complete SSP program. Its delivery will be adjusted based on your needs and challenges, most commonly as a mix of the three pathways (SSP Connect – SSP Core – SSP Balance).
We will connect regularly for online check-ins in order to adjust the daily listening time and so you can make the most of this experience.
